SMS Text Message Notifications
Agent Mom can send you text message alerts for calendar reminders, scheduling conflicts, and action items. Here's how it works, how to opt in, and how to stop at any time.
How to Opt In to SMS Notifications
SMS notifications are an optional feature within the Agent Mom app. You will never receive text messages from Agent Mom unless you explicitly opt in through the following steps:
Sign in to your Agent Mom account at app.agent-mom.com.
Navigate to your account settings and select "Notifications."
Toggle on "SMS/Text Notifications" and enter your mobile phone number. You will be shown the following consent language before confirming:

"By enabling SMS notifications and providing your phone number, you consent to receive automated text messages from Agent Mom including calendar alerts, scheduling reminders, conflict notifications, and action item updates. Message frequency varies based on your calendar activity. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out at any time. Reply HELP for assistance. Consent is not a condition of purchase. See our Privacy Policy and Terms and Conditions."

You will receive a one-time verification code via text message to confirm your phone number. Enter the code in the app to complete activation.
Select which types of notifications you'd like to receive via text: calendar reminders, scheduling conflicts, action items, and/or daily schedule summaries.
What Messages Will You Receive?
Agent Mom sends only service-related text messages that you have opted in to receive. These may include:
- Calendar event reminders (e.g., "Soccer practice in 30 minutes at Westfield Park")
- Scheduling conflict alerts (e.g., "Conflict detected: dentist appointment overlaps with piano lesson Tuesday at 3pm")
- Action item notifications (e.g., "New action item: Permission slip due Friday for field trip")
- Daily schedule summaries (if enabled)

🗓️ Agent Mom: Reminder — Emma's soccer practice at Westfield Park at 4:00 PM today. Leave by 3:30 PM to arrive on time.
Reply STOP to opt out. Reply HELP for help.
Message Frequency
Message frequency varies based on your family's calendar activity and your notification preferences. You control which types of notifications you receive and can adjust these settings at any time within the app. On a typical day, you might receive between 1 and 10 messages depending on your family's schedule and notification preferences.
Message and Data Rates
Message and data rates may apply. Standard messaging rates from your mobile carrier will apply to messages sent and received. Agent Mom is not responsible for any charges from your wireless carrier.
How to Opt Out (STOP)
You can stop receiving text messages from Agent Mom at any time using any of these methods:
- Reply STOP to any text message from Agent Mom
- Disable SMS notifications in your Agent Mom account settings under "Notifications"
- Contact us through the form on our website
After opting out, you will receive one final confirmation message: "You have been unsubscribed from Agent Mom SMS notifications. You will no longer receive text messages. Reply HELP for help." You will not receive any further messages unless you re-enable SMS notifications in your account.
How to Get Help (HELP)
If you need assistance with SMS notifications at any time:
- Reply HELP to any text message from Agent Mom
- You will receive a response: "Agent Mom SMS Help: For support, visit agent-mom.com or contact us through our website. To stop messages, reply STOP."
- You can also contact us through the form on our website
No Marketing Messages
We will never use your phone number to send marketing, promotional, or advertising text messages. All messages are strictly limited to the service-related notifications you have opted in to receive.
No Phone Number Sharing
We will never sell, rent, share, or disclose your phone number to any third party for their marketing or any other purpose. Your phone number is used solely to deliver Agent Mom service notifications through our messaging provider.
Supported Carriers
Agent Mom SMS notifications are supported on all major U.S. mobile carriers, including AT&T, T-Mobile, Verizon, and others. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
Privacy and Data Handling
Your phone number and SMS preferences are governed by our Privacy Policy. Key points:
- Your phone number is used exclusively to deliver service notifications
- Your phone number is retained only while your account is active and SMS is enabled
- Upon opting out or account deletion, your phone number is removed from our systems
- We do not sell your data
